Lessons Learned from Mohawk Industries’ Managing Employee Benefits in SAP SuccessFactors Solutions – September 12, 11:30-12:15
When Mohawk Industries migrated from Workday to SAP SuccessFactors solutions in 2016, it identified the need for modern U.S. and Canadian benefits administration as part of the SAP SuccessFactors environment. Mohawk faced ever-more complex challenges around educating employees on their benefits, reaching the mobile workforce, and managing costs. Mohawk also wanted to avoid previous IT challenges with separate systems with duplicate employee data, a different user experience, integrations to manage, and loss of data security. Mohawk partnered with AspireHR to deploy a modern, mobile benefits administration system within its SAP SuccessFactors environment. It provides a flexible framework for managing its complex benefits packages and handles their employee eligibility, qualifying events, online enrollment, administration, reporting, compliance and payroll integration needs. How Cargill Automated Budget Pools and Incentive Plans with SAP SuccessFactors Extension Application – September 13, 9:00-9:45
Organizations have many incentive plans, and keeping a complete inventory of the business drivers, payout curves, and administrative practices is daunting with a spreadsheet-based process. Recording requests for budget transfers among the various incentive plan pools is also error prone without a self-service tool. Cargill was manually gathering, tracking, and reporting on incentive plans. Before automation, staff spent hours fixing complex spreadsheets to provide consolidated reports to management. Budget transfers required significant HR and comp involvement, and managers had to remember to underspend. Cargill’s new solution, developed by EIR, is fully integrated with SAP SuccessFactors solutions, securely defines incentive plans, models payout curves, and manages budget pools and transfers to deliver real-time reports, making bonus allocations easy and accurate.
