Q&A
Q: Does context-driven services use hybris profile on the background?
A: Context-Driven services does not replace marketing, there are a range of different and coimplimentary features. CDS is more focused on realtime, what can we deliver based on what we know to personalize and enhance the experience. There will be integrations between CDS and Marketing so that we can enrich between them. For example pulling in more social media interactions from marketing
The foundation of context-driven services is the product that was previously referred to as profile on YaaS or yProfile. We’re combining it with Merchandising, Customer recovery and Anlytics into one product, so that people don’t have to purchase and integrate multiple products and so that we can use the personalization capabilities in future within merchandsising and the rest of the features, as we collect all the data in one place and can learn and act upon it in real time (Source: SAP)
Q: Are these are features only available to Cloud Commerce Customers? or does it not matter?
A: Context-driven services is an addon for commerce
Provided as a service that anyone with commerce can subscribe to. Can connect to cloud, hosted or on prem commerce instances
Q: Is (integration) it via HTTP or HTTPS?
A: you can use both HTTP and HTTPS depending on what your target destination (i.e. SCPI ) supports
We plan to have pre-built integrations, which leverage SCPI for all scenarios, which as of today use the Data Hub, in December 2018
