Dilipkumar Khandelwal Honored with Silver Stevie at International Business Awards for Driving Corporate Innovation and Social Progress

The International Business Awards honored Dilipkumar Khandelwal, President of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud and Managing Director of SAP Labs, with the Silver Stevie Award as Executive of the Year in the Computer Software Industry. The award recognized Dilip’s achievements as a business leader and social change maker who inspires corporate innovation and social progress by using technology. The International Business Awards (IBA) are the world’s premier business awards program that recognizes outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide.

The Stevie Awards Judges recognized his achievements in driving innovation in cloud computing and fostering a culture of innovation based on diversity and inclusion inside and outside SAP by collaborating with social enterprise startups, non-profit organizations, and the government.

Dilip was recognized for instilling an entrepreneurial spirit among team members worldwide, inspiring them to push the boundaries for product innovation and sustainable progress. As a result, The Great Place to Work Institute has named SAP Labs India as the best place to work in India in June 2018. Under Dilip’s leadership SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud became a strong pillar for SAP. The organization just celebrated its 5th anniversary this May.

His numerous achievements include:

For him it is self-evident to promote inclusion beyond the organization. All corporate social responsibility programs to bring disadvantaged youth into the work fold have a focus on creating a more gender balanced pool of candidates for recruitment by broadening the access for girls’ education,” commented the International Business Awards judges.

The 2018 International Business Awards competition had attracted more than 3,900 nominations from organizations of all types in 74 nations. Just about 34% of the nominations considered received high-enough average scores to win Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award recognition.
