Planned Production Order

Can’t complete the process by receipt the manufactured quantity via Receipt from Production document, it won’t show-up,

Have no financial affects, for the inventory affects we can see it in the Item Master Data > Inventory Tab, +Ordered column for the ready item, +Committed column for the component items,

Released Production Order

The ability to complete the production process via Receipt from Production document, it gives the ability to show the PO and move forward to receive the ready goods,

Have no financial affects, for the inventory affects we can see it in the Item Master Data > Inventory Tab, +Ordered column for the ready item, +Committed column for the component items,

 

Planned Production Order

After defining the PO type, and the item to be manufactured and its components, the PO status sets by default to Planned, and can’t be changed,

This step will not case any financial affects, as well for the inventory, we can see the following changes from the Item Master Data > Inventory Tab;

  • For the manufactured item, the planned quantity in the PO, will appear in the Order column in the Item Master Data,
  • For the component item, the planned quantity in the PO, will appear in the Committed column in the Item Master Data,

We can see the Production Order to product 7 pieces from the following item;

And the affect for the item to be manufactured, as clarified +7 pieces as ordered;

And for the component items, will be affected by -7 pieces as committed stock

Released Production Order

After posting the Production Order, we can get back to it, to complete the process and move the issued quantities from Planned to be Released,

To do so, open the planned production order, and change the doc status from Planned to Released -> click on Update button,

now we can move forward to the third step, receive the ready item from the under-manufactured stock,
