Dear customers,

My name is Christian Happel, I’m part of the product management team of SAP’s Enterprise Collaboration products, and one of the moderators of this community.

With every quarterly release we are delivering new capabilities for SAP Jam Collaboration and SAP Jam Communities that help you to achieve better business results using collaborative work patterns.

Q3 Release Information Webinar on July 24

With the upcoming Q3 release we provide enhancements that expand your ability to better provide employee self-service access to information, support a global workforce, and integrate SAP Jam Collaboration into your IT landscape.

My product management colleague Drew Thomas will share details of these upcoming enhancements in a webinar on July 24 before the release will automatically be deployed to your production tenants on September 14/15.

As always, if your test tenant is on the preview schedule, you will also be able to try the new features out starting August 3.

In the release information webinar on July 24 at 10am PDT / 7pm CET, Drew will present enhancements to knowledgebase articles that allow to organize them using a hierarchical taxonomy, and to provide articles in multiple languages.

Additionally, you will hear in this webinar about enhancements for content owners, including the ability to specify if a PDF document should be viewed using the web browser's built-in PDF viewer, instead of the in-SAP Jam images.

Furthermore it will now be possible to request a fully customized domain name, such as ACEintranet.com or collaboration.ace.com, giving your intranet a unique and easily remember-able URL for employees.

For prospects and new customers we will also announce the availability of SAP Jam Collaboration in additional data centers around the world. Stay tuned on this one.

I highly recommend you join this webinar to hear about these upcoming additions before the official What’s New documentation is published on the SAP Help Portal. It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions directly to the product management team and provide feedback on the new capabilities.

Please use this link to register for the webinar.

Channels for questions and feedback

Of course, you can also always use the SAP Community to and we’ll answer your questions there or forward your feedback to the responsible people.

I also like to make you aware of the SAP Jam Collaboration Value Map, part of SAP’s support offering, in case you’d like to ask questions in a non-public space. Our support and product teams are monitoring this closed customer community and respond there.
