Block Search-Add Business Partner Authority in SAP Business One 9.2

Sometimes, we need to block the ability for some users to search and add Business Partner Master Data, to do so in SAP Business One 9.2 PL08;

From Modules > Administration > System Initialization > Authorizations > General Authorizations



A new window will pop-up, “Authorizations”

Highlight the wanted user to modify his authority regarding Business Partner,

Go to Business Partner Section inside the authorities’ modules,

 

To block the user from adding new Business Partner Master Data,
from Adding Business Partner -> No Authorization

to block user from searching for existing Business Partner Master Data,
from Business Partner -> Business Partner Master Data -> Ready-Only



in the following screenshot, we can see the modified authorities’ user, has no rights to search for an existed Business Partner, or Add new one,
