SAP Screen Personas is a user experience tool that allows companies to improve their productivity by personalizing SAP ERP screens. With it, users can group related information, automate repetitive keystrokes, and deliver the SAP Fiori user experience. It runs on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. You can learn more about it on the SAP Design page.

SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP08 is now available.

With the end of the year rapidly approaching, we here on the SAP Screen Personas team are looking back on our past 12 months of product development. In that time, we’ve seen the enthusiastic uptake of Slipstream Engine — a component which allows SAP Screen Personas flavors to render on mobile browsers. We also released two service packs and continue to delight our over 1500 happy live customers.

To sum it up in two words: thank you. SAP Screen Personas is what it is because our development team relies on open and honest communication with our customers and partners. Events like our monthly Practitioner Forum, usability testing at SAPPHIRE NOW and SAP TechEd, and customer workshops allow us to get a sense of what is important to you and help us deliver on SAP Design’s promise of creating human-centered enterprise.

In May of this year, we released SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP07. It gave SAP S/4HANA and ECC customers even greater access to the SAP Fiori user experience — on all their devices. Its features were derived from our customers’ feedback, who told us what they needed to build a delightful experience for their users. Given that we collaborated so closely with our customer base, we were excited to meet with so many of them at this year’s SAP TechEd Las Vegas to hear their thoughts:

“[SAP Screen Personas] was a big win for our sales team.”

“We looked at a bunch of different options and, really, SAP Screen Personas was the biggest win for our company.”

“Having SAP Screen Personas on mobile is just a game changer for us.”

In addition to hearing exciting customer stories throughout the year, we received a lot of great feedback about how we could make SAP Screen Personas even better. With that in mind, we are proud to announce that, as of December 7thSAP Screen Personas SP08 is now available.

Just like its predecessors, SP08 is focused on making the SAP Fiori user experience accessible in a wider range of scenarios, with improvements for everyone. Users building flavors can expect productivity enhancements that make it even easier to create simple, intuitive screens. End-users will have access to a more native-like experience with increasing support for UI5 controls.

As with all SAP Screen Personas service packs, we couldn’t have done it without our customers, partners, and colleagues. So again, thank you. We look forward to your feedback for service packs 09, 10, and beyond!

Happy Holidays from the SAP Screen Personas team.
