Latest Updates: Links to guides updated for SAP S/4HANA 1809
If you have ever struggled to find a tile or target mapping in the Launchpad Designer, as of SAP S/4HANA 1709 (NetWeaver 7.52) there is a Launchpad check tool that can help :
Fiori Launchpad Texts [ Transaction /UI2/FLT ]
IMPORTANT: You should note that the main purpose of this transaction is translating texts.
If you are an administrator or support person, this tool gives you an easy way to find tiles and apps by name or text.
You can search across:
- Catalogs
- Groups
- Tiles
- Target Mappings
On the entry screen you enter your text filter and any user id who has this app assigned to them.
Just put any part of the text into the text filter – no wildcards needed – and press Execute.
Once you have the results you can drill down to find further detail of a tile (type TILE):
Or to a target Mapping (type TM):
Catalog Header (type CAT):
Group header (type GRP):
And of course if you are supporting users in multiple languages you can also translate texts from here.
