Broadcast Resolution: SMP SDK 3.1: Requesting Public Key from Server Requesting Public Key from Server (Communication Error 14)

To all SAP SDK 3.1 users,

SAP Support in general would like to state an emergency workaround for a fix tied to Agentry Client released for iOS (first reported in iOS).

Symptoms:

• Users have updated their Agentry iOS client to v71.1.1 from the App store and when they are trying to connect to the server they see the error below.

The following error is shown:

The operation couldn’t be completed. Can’t assign requested address.

Communications Error (14)

Connection failed

Ending transmission

Goal: This article is to quickly notify the community of the said issue and current workaround for SMP SDK 3.1 Agentry iOS client.

Please reference: 2653099 – Agentry iOS client V71.1.1- Error – Unable to connect to the server – Communication Error(14) for workaround while SAP resolves it in a general release version.
