Pride connection Brasil is an independent and voluntary group formed by companies from different areas that already have, or desire to implement LGBT+ inclusion policies.
Through dialog, education, leadership, mentorship and shared best practices, Pride Connection Brasil supports companies to foster a culture that recognizes LGBT+ employees as an important part of a diverse and inclusive work environment.
The initiative started in Mexico in 2014, and SAP brought the idea to Brazil in 2016, where two groups were created, one in São Paulo (2016) and other in Rio Grande do Sul (2018) states. Both Pride Connection groups in Brazil are led by our colleague Filipe Roloff.
Once a month both groups have a meeting in one of the participant companies. The last one was hosted by our Labs. Currently, there are more than 20 companies participating in the initiative, with some big names among them, such as Unimed, PwC, ADP, SAP, Senac, Sage and Yara.
“This was the second meeting of Pride Connection here in Rio Grande do Sul! The group was created to share best practices about LGBT+ inclusion. This way, step by step, we will keep making the world a better place” said Filipe Roloff about the meeting.
