I normally try to make a post about the integration relevant topics that is a most to attend the conferences that I get to attend. Here is last years episode from Sapphirenow. Let me start with a warning SAPPHIRENOW is not the place to go if you want to learn the newest development ideas. The main focus is to make sure the business can make the decisions to invest in the ideas that will generate the most revenue. So they must know what is moving, without know how to do it.
Today I had a look at the program to try to compile the list of relevant areas to focus on. If you just look at SAP Cloud Platform Integration and SAP Process Integration/Orchestration there where just two sessions.
I have found the following two sessions.
|ASUG11011||Integration Architecture for Hybrid System Landscapes||Thu
12:30 p.m. – 01:30 p.m.
|PL60858||Adopt Winning Strategies for Cloud Integration||Thu
03:00 p.m. – 03:40 p.m.
I had hoped for a few more session as some of the other years where there had been customer cases of using PI or B2B tools.
Some of the other session that could be of interest to integration are:
|PL60859||Support Rapid Innovation with Straightforward Access to APIs||Tue
|ASUG10522||APIs and Integration Strategy for SAP S/4HANA Cloud||
|LE59486||Discover Extensions and APIs That Drive the Intelligent Enterprise||Wed
|ASUG11987||Integrating SAP S/4HANA Cloud: Road Map and Current Capabilities||Wed
|BA60744||Drive Transformation with Robotic Process Automation and SAP S/4HANA Cloud||Thu
There is the pre-conference event titled
SAP Cloud Platform Services: Embrace New Digital Business Opportunities.
This is a full day event that covers most of what is in the cloud business world. So there is both some UI/Fiori and Cloud Integration. It probably give a good understanding of the different concepts so inline with what people that have not worked with the tools and want to figure out how they link together. For my own purpose I think the session is too wide for me to get some value in it.
If you search for SAP Leonardo IoT sessions there is whopping 216 which has that tag. So there you can find a lot more interesting sessions, and I’ll probably attend some of them. I guess the idea with the IoT is to figure out how other people are able to create business cases for it. So I think this is a really great inspiration, and then we must find a way to implement them at Teched (or before).
If you are going to the conference be sure to check out the blog about first-timer at SAPPHIRENOW
If you have found some good sessions on integration please share them in the comments. I would like to hear if I missed something.
