Workflow & much more at SAPPHIRE NOW 2018 and ASUG Annual Conference

“My bags are packed, I ‘m ready to go…” – well to be honest, my bags are not packed yet, but everything else is ready and prepared for the upcoming SAPPHIRE NOW 2018 and ASUG annual conference. And I must commit, I am super-excited!

First, for me it is the first SAPPHIRE since 10 years (in-between I was more often attending TechEd). This experience way back in 2008, which was also my first trip to the U.S., really motivated me. So many fruitful discussions and interactions with customers and partners these days. And I am really looking forward to have the same now with new exciting topics.

Of course, as I am working in product management at SAP for BPM (Business Process Management), my main focus will be the new stuff we are providing via SAP Cloud Platform these days. So definitely, SAP Cloud Platform Workflow and SAP Cloud Platform Business Rules are on my agenda. But also SAP Business Workflow and the developments we have done for SAP S/4HANA is a topic. And this is the second great reason to be excited: the sessions my colleague Venugopal Chembrakalathil and I will deliver this year:

So, please ensure these sessions are on your agenda.

Finally, what really thrills me, the seminar at ASUG pre-conference: SAP Cloud Platform services: embrace new digital business opportunities. Imagine a full day with customers (Leo Pharma, Love’s Travel Shop, Murphy Oil Corporation) on stage, explaining their digital transformation journey, accompanied with several experts from SAP. We will talk about UX, API management, Integration, Workflow, Business Rules and also Collaboration. While we will focus to show how these services can work together, which different entry points there are for the journey of digital transformation and most important, the customers mentioned before will give some valuable insights into their experiences.

The seminar will be kicked-off by Gunther Rothermel, Senior VP & Head of SAP Cloud Platform services and I am so happy to act as a host for this day. Well, now I will pack my bags for a short trip with my family to France, to recharge my batteries and then “…I’m ready to go…” to Orlando. 😉
