For many years workplace technology was focused on automating processes, rather than the people using it. But today’s business leaders know that tomorrow’s success depends on their people. And while the technology we use outside of work has evolved to be more engaging, connected, and built around our needs and preferences, leaders have struggled with how to best provide us with the same experiences at work.

SAP SuccessFactors is leading the charge to enable businesses to do more than just automate transactions, but deliver exceptional experiences to their people. This means creating tools built around how people best think, work, and connect. It means delivering flexible, personal solutions that abolish the traditional one-size-fits-all approach to technology. And it means creating holistic, connected experiences, no matter where people are and what they are working on.

In the Q2 release we delivered enhancements across the SAP SuccessFactors mobile app, focusing on the personal and connected experiences that matter most for your mobile workforce.

Employees and managers can now use the mobile app to send, receive, and request ad hoc, continuous performance feedback anytime, and anywhere. This feedback can be linked directly to Continuous Performance Management activities and achievements, creating a powerful source of data that guides performance, development, and continued connection between employees and their managers.

As mobile apps become more pervasive in our lives, they also become more pervasive in our work. Today’s organizations often have a corporate app they use to engage their workforce, and having an additional app for connecting with HR can be cumbersome. Although the underlying architecture of apps does not enable integrating and creating one app out of several, the holistic “one app” feeling can be achieved with deep links. This quarter we enhanced our deep link navigations, enabling customers to place deep links to SuccessFactors mobile app functionality within their own corporate tools. Please see the Customer Community for a comprehensive list of all deep links we currently support that route directly to SuccessFactors mobile functionality.

Mobile devices and technology have changed radically, but one thing remains true: we use them to connect with one another. Connection and collaboration is critical for today’s organizations, but finding a colleague’s contact information and then getting in touch with them is often a multi-step process. This quarter we delivered enhanced capabilities in mobile people profiles, enabling users to not only seamlessly contact their colleagues via phone call, text message, or email, but also save their contact information to the mobile device at the push of a button.

To leverage these new capabilities and ensure that your employees have full access to the latest data protection and privacy features on mobile, your managers, employees, and other members of the workforce should be encouraged to upgrade to the most current release of the mobile app, available through the Apple App storeGoogle Play store, and the Amazon China Appstore.

Today’s workforce requires not just mobile tools, but holistic, multi-channel experiences that help them better connect to their jobs, careers, and each other. SAP SuccessFactors continues to innovate in creating those seamless, personal experiences that enable your people to thrive.
