“You don’t need to present on “newest stuff” to get accepted….It is also a great way for you to deepen your own personal understanding of a particular topic. Even though you may think you know a topic very well, it is amazing how building the presentations will force you to pick up every single detail as part of you research. ” – Stephen Johannes

Thanks for posting this, Tammy! I'm a bit confused by the track list though. Where does ABAP belong there? Unless the session is specifically about just one of those aspects (e.g. UI or integration), it doesn't seem to really fit any of the tracks...
Thank you!
Hello Jelena Perfiljeva thank you for commenting. I will ask. I just received word too that some of the tracks will be changing; I'm expecting to update the blog more soon.
I did find this (after logging on to the submission site):
"How to Move Your ABAP Skills to the Cloud and SAP HANA" is under Cloud Native Architectures
Thanks, Tammy! But that falls exactly under "one aspect" clause I've mentioned (Cloud in this case). For example, in the past there were sessions (even by SAP) about new things in a recent ABAP release. As a potential attendee, I'm at loss on where I'd look for these. Or last year's sessions about abapGit and Unit Test are rather "general ABAP" category. How would they fit?
Thank you!
Hi Jelena - I have sent to the SAP TechEd Content team...hopefully the track updates I'm expecting will cover. Thank you for your patience.
Jelena Perfiljeva - message from SAP: "ABAP belongs to the Cloud Native Architectures topic."
Based on SAP's request, I have added theme/sub themes as an "addendum" towards the end of the blog.
