Hello,

We delivered our Q2 2018 release last weekend. We have a lot of great enhancements, and my personal highlights are:

  • SAP SuccessFactors Visa and Permits Management

  • Our new candidate relationship management (CRM) capabilities

  • Team Absence Calendar improvements

From my own experience, I know how much effort is involved in processing on visas and permits. In many organizations, this process is often done manually. With our new with SAP SuccessFactors Visa and Permits Management solution all visa and permits processes can be digitalized. You can manage your visa and permit processes end-to-end, including local and country-specific needs. It is built on the SAP Cloud Platform and is integrated with Employee Central.

As a recruiter, you need to find the right employee / talent for each position – internally or externally. Candidate relationship management is a great strategy to engage with your candidates and should be part of your recruiting process. Having a database / talent pipeline where you can search for pre-screened candidates avoids having to search from scratch and reduces the cost per hire and the time to fill.

As I mentioned above, candidate relationship management (CRM) capabilities are my second favorite in this release. The Q2 2018 delivers the initial release of CRM capabilities as part of our SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting solution. We focus on data management and organization, as well as content strategy. With these capabilities you can nurture, attract and recruit top talents more effectively. Learn more about our new candidate relationship management in Jeff Mill's blog.

Significant usability improvements to our Employee Central Time Management functionality, by providing:

  • A renewed team absence calendar with clear overview of all attendances and absences

  • An overview of monthly time evaluation results directly on the time sheet

Those are my three major highlights in the Q2 2018 release, but there is a lot more!

Our next release is planned for Q3 2018. We’ll send you a summary of release highlights shortly beforehand. However, you can review a detailed release summary, which is published in our customer community, about four weeks prior to the release.

For SAP SuccessFactors Professional Edition, some features may not be available or may become available at a later date.
