All About Migration using Data Workbench
When you start using a new software, data migration is one of your first steps. SAP Cloud for Customer offers Data Workbench (DWB), an advanced tool built on OData framework. DWB is intuitive and enables you to smoothly perform import, update, and export high volume of data. This blog serves as a single point of reference for all information regarding enablement for DWB.
Check out the video below to get an overview of the DWB tool.

Hi,
What to do when you have added extension fields to your object which need to be migrated with the data workbench?
Kind regards,
Yvonne
Hi ,
Just add that extension field to relevant OData service(this details is available in DWB guide), it will be available in Data Workbench for further operations.

Hi all.
Question about DWB: I have legacy data to import to C4C but it's a new layout. Can i create a BO to import the data using DWB view?
BR,
Mauricio.
Hi
Data Workbench supports the import of custom objects as well. You can check if creating a custom BO via PDI enables you with your requirement, if so, the data can be imported via Data Workbench.

HI
Will DWB allow us to update a service ticket that is COMPLETED? This was allowed in MDM however there are some fields that can't be maintained (e.g. Service and Support Team, Account). You get an error that the field is read only.
This is frustrating when re-aligning past tickets or correcting data issues to ensure accuracy in reporting.
I have raised IR however nothing seems to progressing. It is really frustrating when I don't have control of my data and have to manually create reports in excel!
Thanks
Chad
