You are a SAP Portal customer and attending SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference, June 5-7, 2018? And you are running your SAP Enterprise Portal on SAP NetWeaver 7.3, 7.4 or 7.5? Then it might be useful for you to meet our Portal experts onsite at Orlando or attend some of our sessions and learn about what is the best Portal strategy for you.

I have been working in the SAP Portal Product management team since many years now and I would like to make you aware what to expect from our ASUG Annual Conference and SAPPHIRE NOW sessions. I would also like to introduce you to the experts from our team, you would meet in Orlando.

First of all I would like to recommend our roadmap session about recent innovations and planned enhancements for SAP Cloud Platform Portal and SAP Enterprise Portal. You could also join our roundtable session at ASUG Annual Conference to learn about the benefits & best practices to transition your SAP Enterprise Portal to the cloud. This session will cover best practices, recommendations and real-life examples from successful customer projects. You will also learn more details about the release of our latest tools to support the transition from Enterprise Portal to the cloud, including SAP Enterprise Portal as a content provider and the Portal content migration tool. You will also be informed about a new migration tool, that is going to be released soon.

Another topic we cover is SAP Fiori Cloud. The SAP Fiori Cloud user experience (UX) provides a simple, cloud-based deployment option for SAP Fiori apps and the SAP Fiori launchpad. Join the sessions on this topic to learn about the different deployment options for SAP Fiori UX and how SAP Fiori Cloud can help you simplify your SAP Fiori implementation journey. For more information on SAP Fiori Cloud you can check out the new learning journey, that we have published recently.

We are also covering the topic “SAP Fiori launchpad on-premise and in the cloud”. Our roundtable session will guide you through the different deployment options, and help you decide on the best solution for your implementation. Which deployment options fits best, depends on several aspects, like the usage scenarios, the system landscape setup and the general strategic direction regarding a cloud or on-premise environment. You will also learn about an important update on the recommended SAP Fiori Front-end server deployment for SAP S/4HANA. For more information you can already check out this new guide.

Another focus is to give you an insight into future directions to create a single point of entry for your business content and bringing together SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite and SAP SuccessFactors with classic SAP UIs, unstructured content and 3rd party applications. This is a request that many customers are asking for and we are going to present you our plans and how we are going to cover the customers' requirements.

You can also get input by two customer sessions, which might help you to find the right strategy for your own business: learn from Yaskawa about implementing a Supplier Portal on SAP Cloud Platform. And learn from LEO Pharma about the company’s UX modernization journey and how they are using SAP Cloud Platform services and tools.

These are our main sessions covering the following topics:

Customer Sessions:

  • ASUG10562 Yaskawa: Lessons Learned from Implementing a Supplier Website on SAP Cloud Platform

  • DE61611: Simplify and Personalize the Digital Employee Experience at LEO Pharma

SAPPHIRE NOW Demo Theater:

  • DE61609: Motivate Users by Delivering Personalized Content

  • DE59441: Remodel Your Digital Workplace with SAP Cloud Platform

You can also check out the session catalog and choose the ASUG track User Experience to find more sessions about UX topics.

In addition to the many sessions on your agenda, I’d also like to invite you to join us on Monday June 4th for an afternoon seminar on Digital Experience.
