SAP CodeJam Utrecht (Accenture Liquid Studio) – SAP UI5 & API
On Wednesday 25th of April we had our 2nd SAP CodeJam at the Accenture Liquid Studio in Utrecht (Netherlands). The topic was focused on UI5 and API. In total we had 24 participants working, collaborating and struggling ? together to build an end-to-end scenario.
Our host today was Martin Hristov, a senior expert from SAP Labs (Bulgaria). Martin started with an explanation on the UI5 and API topics itself. Then Martin explained the end-to-end scenario which was prepared for today. The scenario was focused on consuming an API and displaying the data in an UI5 application.
First part of the assignment was to take look at the SAP API Business Hub and explore the User Management API from the SAP Success Factors Foundation package.
The second part was focused on building an UI5 application which is consuming the User Management API.
It was great so see how everyone was collaborating and working together.

Routing in SAPUI5 is not that easy for most of us ….. and sometimes even a bit frustrating…..
Luckily, we had Martin supporting us in case of difficulties 🙂
Also developers need to eat… so we enjoyed a delicious Indonesian buffet. This also gave us a good time to recap and network.
