Great discussions combined with great views…
… at onsite meeting of the SAP Partner Advisory Council for Innovation this week in the SAP 
Hudson Yards Office in NYC.
15 partners, who successfully build and commercialize applications on the SAP Cloud Platform, were exchanging on digital innovation as well as providing feedback to SAP. Initiated by Marc Geall (Head of Cloud Platform Ecosystem) two years ago, this global group of select SAP Partner executives has evolved into a tight-knit community of committed SAP Cloud Platform “Build Partners”.
An open dialogue with Bertram Schulte (CDO), Marc Geall (Head of Cloud Platform Ecosystem) and several key executives of various SAP Cloud Platform areas was focused on strategic questions around Cloud Platform services with different Go-to-Market and Commercial aspects. Stephen Davidson from TBR (Technology Business Research Inc.) gave their analyst perspective on business change in a platform and digital world. With three new partners on board, there were interesting contributions with partner best-practice on co-innovation as well as about multi-cloud.
This Council has proven trust and openness, providing feedback to the different SAP speakers and as always, time seemed to be too short. Despite of the miserable weather (flood warnings, flight cancellations and incredible winds) the location at SAP’s Hudson Yards Offices was a great place to meet. Until the next physical meeting in Autumn, there will be exchange and interaction through virtual sessions and workstreams.
