SAP BW/4HANA 1.0, SP 08 has just been released and you may already have noticed that this feature pack includes the SAP BW/4HANA Cockpit, which provides you with some SAP Fiori apps for process chain modeling and monitoring and for the administration of InfoProviders.
Well, this is a completely new approach for everyone who knows SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW. And at first glance it may not be easy to find everything you need to do your tasks. However, there is help available. Within the SAP Fiori apps, you can switch on the in-app help called the Web Assistant. It provides you with context-sensitive information and guided tours. Although there are already some blogs about the Web Assistant, I still would like to show you how to use it in the SAP BW/4HANA Cockpit.
To switch on the in-app help, simply click on the question mark in the upper right-hand corner of the screen:
An information bar will appear across the bottom of the screen, and elements that have in-app help will have a green circle on top of them:
To get help on the topic, simply click on the green circle or on a topic in the information bar.
To switch off the Web Assistant, simply click on the question mark again, and the circles as well as the information bar will disappear.
