Announcing The Unofficial and Unnamed SAP Community Podcast
Hello fellow community members.
[Update] help us find a name for the podcast
It is with great pride that I can announce the first episode of the The Unofficial and unnamed SAP Community Podcast is now available.
This first podcast gives a brief introduction to why Simon Kemp and myself started the podcast. Some important news from the community and then a blog show, where we go through three blogs and discuss them with a special secret guest.
You can subscribe to the podcast via the RSS feed here or find it on itunes here
We hope you like it, the plan is to do one every month.
Also please reach out if you have a good name for the podcast.
Please comment on this blog or reach out to us on twitter via @skemp or @uxkjaer
[Update] Just realised that i forgot the links to the blogs. They are now in the description of the podcast as well as below 🙂

First blogpost in DJ Adams blog series
Congratulations you two for launching this podcast series. It's exactly the sort of thing I like to listen to, and I'm looking forward to hearing and learning from many folks. Cheers!
Thanks again DJ for your participation
Yeah, I do like podcast!
I often hear them when I cycle to/from work.
I'll check this one out soon!

Joachim
Very cool! I'm all subscribed up! However - don't use the links with Google Chrome. 🙂
Michelle
Tell us what you think. Also please elaborate on what is wrong with the links.
Links seems to work fine for me.
I really like the idea - i've signed up via IE. Google Chrome gives me this:
aah i see, that is the rss feed directly to anchor where we host the podcast. I have edited the blog to describe that. Glad that you got it working.
...and thanks for the rss-link, that's the only way I do access Podcasts.
I wonder about the format, though: "*.m4a" ? Not sure if my player (yes, I still have a smal, dedicated, hardware MP3-Player - all it does is (store and) play some MP3-files!) can cope with it.
In case it doesn't: is *.mp3 also available somehow?

Joachim
Hi Joachim,
Great feedback. I will make a MP3 version as well if it doesn't work and stick to that format in the future. Honestly didn't think that it would cause issues with format. But there you go ?
OK I checked: I think I really can't use this *.m4a ! (It made my Player freeze! 🙁 )
So I'd really appreciate if you'll provide the mp3-format in the future!
Thanks a lot
Joachim
Hi Joachim,
Sorry the platform automatically converts to *.m4a, i had it exported as mp3. I thought as much.
Here is a link for you to download it.
WOW.. Awesome. I have been regularly listening to FreeCodeCamp podcast, it was always on my wish-list when will we have something like this for our great SAP Community where people will share their stories, experiences for example someone sharing a journey from ABAP to SAPUI5 or On Premise to Cloud and on and on, sky is the limit.
Thanks once again Subscribed!
Thanks very much Nabheet. we hope you enjoy it.
Oh, and for the name: maybe something with "goat" ?!
Well Done you two! Fantastic work. Looking forward to the next one.
Great first podcast and definitely interesting topics covered. Well done guys and looking forward to next one.
As for the name - I would get rid of the Unnamed and name it the Unofficial yet Informative SAP Community Podcast!
Hey Jakob Marius Kjær, Simon Kemp & DJ Adams
Great work, loved the podcast. A very convenient way to stay hooked in to the community pulse and a great mix of detail and what's current.
My idea for the name is the short sharp: SAPchat
and if it has to be a goat theme: What's up ya goat?
All the best,
Ben.
To ease up subscribing to the podcast you may consider the Podcast-Subscribe-Button build by the podlove-project, I use it both as publisher and as consumer and it works like a charm...
FYA – successfully subscribed to https://anchor.fm/sap-community-podcast in my feedly.com account.
My work system (windows 7 Pro) copes nicely with the *.m4a file type, but if necessary have a look at the basic K Lite codec package official site.
High Praise, Martin! I know how much trouble SAPCP has given you 🙂
Jakob Marius Kjær, and Simon Kemp this is awesome initiative -- thanks so much for doing it! I can't wait to queue it up on my Android Auto --will do that this week. Hopefully I'll get a few tips from you for the @sapcp podcast too! looking forward to staying in touch and maybe joining in sometime 🙂
