Since 2015, IBM’s SAP on IBM i Practice team is publishing every other month a newsletter with information around SAP on IBM i. The edition for March 2018 has just been released and mailed to subscribers. It contains articles about securing SAP at the operating system level, modernization and digital transformation with the SAP Business Suite and the SAP support statement for the SAP Business Suite 7. If you did not receive the newsletter and would like to read it, you can find it in the archive at https://ibm.box.com/saponi-newsletter. If you would like to receive the newsletter in the future through e-mail, follow the hyperlink at the bottom left of the newsletter ("Contact the SAP on IBM i Practice") and request to be added to the distribution list with your e-mail address.
By the way: Did you know that you can receive e-mail notification from the SAP community based on tags? With this feature, you get alerted automatically when blog entries are created or questions are raised in your areas of interest. In order to subscribe to a tag, you first need to “follow” the tag. To follow the tags used in the SAP on IBM i community, select Community -> Browse Community -> All Content at the top menu bar, then jump to Databases or Operating Systems. Click on IBM Db2 for i (Databases) or IBM i (Operating Systems) to bring up the tag page, then click Follow under the tag name. Once you follow tags, you can activate e-mail notification for new blogs or new questions marked with these tags as described in this blog entry: https://blogs.sap.com/2017/03/30/email-notifications-from-sap-community/.
