Before you begin, SAP is offering you the opportunity to see the benefits of using the tool by demonstrating how other companies in your industry are creating their own digital innovation paths. With these guides, you catch a glimpse of the tool's output before you to dive in yourself to create your very own company-specific guide.
This guide addresses digital transformation in three separate sections.
The Business Guide answers the question: why do you even need digital transformation in your company? This guide shows you what's happening within your industry by sharing trends and themes. Then, the guide focuses on your organization’s current capabilities and guides you to decide what improvements you would like to make. Finally, it provides change management guidance, business cases and realization tracking.
The Technical Guide answers the question: what does digital transformation look like in your company? This guide provides an outlook for the digital framework and reference landscape, and guidance on your current applications. It also presents the different topics you should be aware of when planning your new landscape and system.
The Transformation Guide answers the question: how will digital transformation be carried out in your company? This guide walks you through the different transition options, such as having your products in the cloud or on-premise. A full transformation involves many transition projects, and this section prioritizes projects based on how many capabilities would be improved. You also see suggestions on planning initiatives, timelines, and information on how to start your digital journey.
