UX in the Cloud: Ask the Experts
As our consumer behaviors continue to evolve and expectations continue to increase, businesses are being faced with ever-increasing demands, which most often fall on their IT expert’s doorstep.
Companies are now looking to make new, intuitive, well-integrated apps, which deliver a unified customer experience to each and every one of their end users. They need to deliver seamless experiences to their partners, customers, and suppliers across any channel.

If I was attending a dinner party and was kindly asked to set the table, but was given no further information on the menu for the evening, the best way for me to ensure the guests could fully enjoy their meals would be to prepare with a full set of utensils – soup spoons, salad forks, dinner forks, dinner knives, steak knives, dessert forks, dessert knives, dessert spoons, and teaspoons for stirring hot beverages.
However, if I was to place all the cutlery on the table at once, I would madly confuse the guests and create unnecessary complexity. “6 forks and knives?! Where do I start?” Instead, the best way would be for me to have all silverware available and as soon as I knew which dish would be served, I could provide in real time the correct utensils required.
My point: The best way to prepare for unexpected changes is to be equipped with the right set of tools.

Britt Womelsdorf – Britt is an Area Product Manager in the User Experience Product Management team and has more than 15 years experience in mobile development platforms and enterprise mobility management systems.
Jitendra Kansal – Jitendra is also an SAP Mentor and senior product specialist with more than 7 years of experience in SAP Mobile technologies, he works in the SAP Cloud Platform User Experience, Product Management team.
