This post is based on the open online course "Using SAP Screen Personas for Advanced Scenarios" Week 5 Unit 5. You can go there for more details.

1. Purpose of flavors versioning

Instead of copying flavors again (e.g. to add and/or test new feature) you should start versioning them. That will keep your flavors in order and will allow you to easily go back to the previous versions of them when something goes wrong.

Flavor copies should not replace flavor versioning

2. Creating a new version of flavor

Open your flavor and click on Edit Flavor:

Go to Release tab and click on New Version:

Add Description and Create it:

Now in Release tab you can see version History:

Version History contains three types of versions: User Versions (versions created manually by yourself), Generated Versions (versions created automatically on save) and All Versions (User and Generated versions together):

3. Restoring version of the flavor

You can easily restore previous version of your flavor - just pick the flavor version you want to restore from the Version History and click on Rollback Version:

After you confirm rollback you will be able to see this change in History:

I hope it will help you in your SAP Screen Personas development!
