Top 5 reasons to attend Gartner Data & Analytics Summit in Grapevine, Texas March 5-8

The Gartner Data and Analytics Summit  is just a few weeks away.   SAP  will be there and we hope to see you there as well!  If you’re deciding which events are worth attending in 2018, here are the top 5 reasons why you don’t want to miss the Gartner event!

Reason 5:  Everything is bigger in Texas!

The event is held in Grapevine Texas at the Gaylord Resort.   As a native Texan, I can tell you that March is a good time to visit and the Gaylord is a big Texas destination that has everything from a water park to good restaurants, and good ‘ole Texas hospitality!

Reason 4:  Gain analyst perspectives on digital transformation

While SAP will be demonstrating how our customers and solutions enable digital transformation at the speed of thought, at this event you will gain perspectives of analysts and your peers on how they are approaching digital transformation and the role of analytics and data management.   There are many tracks and sessions to choose from:   From leadership to data governance to architecture to innovation.   Here are some of the analyst sessions I plan to attend:

  • What the Internet of Things Means for Your Data and Analytics Capabilities presented by Ted Friedman, VP Distinguished Analyst, Gartner.

  • How to Create an Impactful Data Quality Program presented by Mei Yang Salvage, Research Director, Gartner

  • Trends in Event Stream Processing and Real-Time Analytics presented by W. Roy Schulte, VP Distinguished Analyst, Gartner

You can get the complete schedule here.

Reason 3:  Learn from SAP customers: their digital transformation journeys and how they are using SAP

As you are checking out the agenda, be sure to bookmark the session SAP Customer Panel: Successes using SAP for Digital Transformation.  It is on Tuesday, March 6 at 10:45 AM.   Cardinal Health, Maxim Integrated, and Parkland Health and Hospital System will provide an interesting panel discussion on best practices and lessons learned on connecting data and analytics to business outcomes.

In addition to the SAP customer panel, on Wednesday, Mar 7 at 3:45 SAP will host a vendor round table session called Instant Insight: Digital Transformation at the Speed of Thought.  This session will be a conversation with you and SAP leaders on key SAP capabilities and the unique business value delivered.

Reason 2:  SAP demos and experts located onsite

In addition to the sessions, SAP will be on the show floor showing dynamic demos from digital boardroom to predictive demos that showcase SAP’s data management and analytic capabilities. There will be SAP experts onsite that focus on IoT, machine learning, analytics, predictive, spatial, data and information management.    We hope you can join us as we discuss and demo how data is the currency of digital transformation.  Data-driven applications are the future of application development.  Next-generation solutions are pro-active, efficient, always learning, consume both structured and unstructured data from multiple applications to drive insights needed to make better decisions.  You will see demos that show examples of innovative applications as well as the solutions used to prepare and manage the data across complex data landscapes.   We will have demos and discussions on SAP HANA, SAP Leonardo, SAP Analytics, and SAP solutions for enterprise information management.

Reason 1:  Get your questions answered and meet 1:1 with SAP to start your digital transformation journey

The top reason to attend Gartner Data & Analytics Summit in Grapevine is to get the personalized 1:1 attention and help you need.   Perhaps you are an existing SAP customer with questions on how to use design thinking to start your digital transformation journey.  Perhaps you have questions on how to maximize SAP’s built-in native analytical engines, including spatial processing, graph processing, text analysis, search and mining, machine learning, streaming, and series data storage and processing.

If you are not an SAP customer, this is an excellent time for us to get to know each other.  Meeting with us will give us an opportunity to learn about your business challenges and digital transformation requirements.   Meeting with us will give you an opportunity to learn about who we are, our deep industry and business expertise that can help you run and transform your business.   You can sign up now for 1:1 session with SAP while you are at the event.

We look forward to seeing you and saying “Howdy y’all”  at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit in Texas in March!
