The other week we had a great ASUG webcast with the SAP Product Team from SAP China.  This is the first time in several years that we have had a Crystal Reports webcast with the SAP Product team.

SAP also informed me this is the 25th anniversary of Crystal Reports.  Where I work we have used Crystal Reports for several years.  It is still the best SAP BI client tool that works with SAP ECC (it can "talk" to the ECC/ERP tables unlike other tools).  It can also use the ABAP ALV as a data source.  No other BI tools can do that.

Q: What is the ROAD-MAP for Dynamic-Parameters (*Crystal Business-View Manger)..?





A: business view still support but you should use IDT

 


Q: Is there any PLAN from SAP for a 'Business-View to IDT prompt' Migration-Tool or Method..? (*some customers have 100's of Business Views)





A: SAP is not aware of plans for this.
