„Cloud und Currywurst“ – SAP CodeJam at CDI AG in Dortmund

Last Thursday, January 18, 2018, we hosted the first SAP CodeJam in Dortmund in the office of CDI Concepts Development Integration AG. The topic of this event was Java Development on the SAP Cloud Platform and indeed …. “Cloud” is the right keyword. Storm “Friederike” confused everything and stopped all trains in the region that day. Nevertheless, many interested people accepted the invitation and learned a lot about the SAP Cloud Platform.

SAP expert Ilian Alekov, supported by CDI expert Sebastian Lammering, who took over the introduction and first practical examples at short notice, gave many interesting insights into SAP Cloud Platform itself and how to develop enterprise Java solutions on this platform. The participants gained practical experience with modern cloud-based software development.

In addition to technical insights, a lot of networking took place during the workshop and also at the end of the event with a cold beer and a local currywurst in the CDI lounge. At the everyone was very happy that the storm “Friederike” had an impact on this exciting event, but could not prevent it.
