Shakeel - Excellent blog. You have nicely put together a vital piece information.

I think this type of drastic change and taking out the certain portion of functionality is totally unnecessary. This is a major warning for folks going to S/4HANA.

How to re-activate SAP ERP profit center planning in S/4HANA and Can I still use BPC for S/4HANA after reactivating SAP ERP planning.

      Cheers

      Hi,

      I have two questions

      1. With this Planning in SAP S/4 HANA and Optimised BPC 10.1 , do we need to install the BPC in the same server of ECC SAP S/4 HANA ? or we can install in separately server ?
      2. How we can have pre defined BPC Content Analysis Workbooks  ? Is it comes with SAP BPC Installer or it has separated licence ?

      Thanks

Does the BPC planning models that replace the old planning in SAP "directly" come with no license ?fee?

My understanding is that the models cannot change.

      Hi Shakeel,

I am looking for the licensing cost of SAP BPC optimized for S4/HANA on 1809 update. Do we have to buy a separate license for it or  it included in the 1809 package.

      Hello experts,

I have a client with BPC Optimized in S4, and I have a couple of questions that I wish you could help me:

      • Can I plan data from the IS-U or any other satellite system using a standard automatic connection?
      • Can I plan companies or cost centers that are not in SAP?
      • Can I combined master data for S4 with fictitious master data in the same dimensión? For example: Non SAP society, cost center, etc.
      • Is there a cash flow planning model?
      • Can models be related to each other? For example: Cash flow model with budget model
      • Can business end users manage the solution?

      I appreciate your help.

      Best regards,

      Hi,

      Thanks for the write up.

My team and I we are planning to move our client SAP BPC to S/4 Hana with an Embedded version.  We have a bit of concern and I will need some assistance from the BPC expert.

      Here's what come up:

      • The solution should be clearly based on the embedded S/4 solution. If any load times are applicable these should be clearly documented. How do we ensure the solution is an embedded version?

      • It is expected the BPC solution from SAP has as a reference model for a cost-center / cost element (GL acct) planning. This model has to be examined on its use for the client.

      • When the planning is finalized the data are to be uploaded to Funds Management. How do we execute this step.?

      Appreciate you response.

      Thanks
