Disabling of Codes for Extension Fields:
In alignment with the Silverlight client with 1802 it is also possible now to disable and enable maintained codes for extension fields, done by the customer.
TextEdit support for Extension Fields:
With the 1802 release of SAP Business ByDesign it is now possible to change an existing extension field of type TEXT, done by the customer, from an input field to a multi-line textedit field.
All you have to do is that while in adaptation mode, open the context menu for the given field and select the rows you want.
Search capability of the Gallery:
The gallery is used inside the personalization mode of the launchpad as well as the home overview page. With the gallery you could add new content to these screens. However, sometime there is a lot a possible content available therefore we have introduced a search field to filter the content.
Adding several instances of the same Report to the Home - Overview page:
The gallery was again enhanced for the home overview page to support more than one instance of a report added to the screen. This is used to have to the same report with different views present on the overview screen and is indicated by a blue counter.
Personalization of My Top Worklist the Home - Overview page
In the personalization mode the card "My Top Worklist" displays a wrench icon on the bottom of it. You click this button the card will flip around and the settings of it could be changed like the with of the card or, what's new, the quicklinks which will be displayed by the "My Top Worklist" card.
Hiding fields of the Identification Region:
Possibility to hide or unhide fields of the identification region, similar to other fields or columns.
