SAP ASE public cloud edition now available on AWS Marketplace

In response to customer demand SAP is pleased to announce the availability of SAP ASE public cloud edition on AWS Marketplace with hourly subscription pricing with community support.

SAP ASE Public Cloud Edition is the Enterprise Edition v. 16.0 SP03 PL02 on Red hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 with advanced options including: Security, Encryption, Compression, Partitioning and Workload Optimization.

For SAP customers and developers looking to develop or move custom applications to the cloud, this edition provides an elastic way to use SAP ASE with the AWS cloud. For SAP Database partners, this is another great opportunity to help our SAP customers move to cloud. It’s Also a great opportunity to create migration and managed services. (SAP application users should continue to use the SAP ASE cloud AMIs certified specifically for those apps.)
