One of the best ways to show what Life is like at SAP is to share our employee stories to provide insight into their experiences and what being successful means to us at the company. I am Heather Walker, and I work on the Global Employer Branding team. Over the last few months I have had the opportunity to speak with 50 colleagues across our Europe, Middle East and Africa region to help share their stories. Here is an interview I did with Soledad Porrati.

Soledad is a qualified lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience in different HR roles in Madrid, Spain. Three and a half years ago she made the decision to move to SAP to work in recruitment. Since joining SAP, Soledad has now made the move to a sales role and speaks to HR Directors in the Energy and Services industries about the SAP SuccessFactors product.

Hiring industry experts enables our sales teams to provide real benefit to our customers as they understand the day-to-day challenges and can offer real solutions rather than just selling products. As a business, we hire professionals with backgrounds such as HR and finance and upskill them to become successful SAP sales people.

Hear first-hand why Soledad made the move from recruitment into sales and why SAP.

“I made the move to SAP because of the dynamic sector and its strength of management and leadership. It was clear that SAP would be committed to my development as a professional, and the opportunities SAP would bring to my professional career meant I could build a long-term future here.

SAP is a very attractive company to work in. The social benefits are extraordinary; flexible work that helps to conciliate your personal and professional life.

It´s a very demanding company but it´s a company full of impressive professionals fully dedicated to making SAP even bigger and better. SAP always takes care of their employees, and that´s why I believe we are a top employer!

Since joining SAP Soledad has made many friends and is committed to a future with the business – and outside of work she spends time with her family, ensuring she has a good work life balance.

In her own words: SAP ROCKS!
