On-premise and virtual: The SAP Solution Manager Roadshow

For the second year in a row, the SAP Solution Manager 7.2 Global Roadshow was a great success in 2017. With 33 events all around the globe, we reached more than 2000 people and talked about various topics around SAP Solution Manager 7.2 – features and functions, business value, and – especially important – about the upgrade and the necessary preparations.

 

Now there is great news for every who was not able to join one of our events in person: We have created the virtual SAP Solution Manager 7.2 roadshow. For this, we condensed the full-day content of the “on-premise” roadshow into five videos and put them on YouTube. Each of the videos is between 20 and 40 minutes long and provides the most interesting and important talking points from the global roadshow.

 

Part 1: Why SAP Solution Manager?

The first video introduces SAP Solution Manager as the central platform for Application Lifecycle Management. From a rather non-technical perspective, It focuses on how SAP Solution Manager 7.2 can help you and your organization building up confidence, deliver capability and retain accountability.

 

Part 2: How to start

The second video introduces the adoption framework which supports you finding out how you can introduce the various functional areas of SAP Solution Manager, depending on the effort you are able to spend.

 

Part 3: Functional Overview

The third video provides an overview of all functional areas of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 on a high-level basis.

 

Part 4: The SAP Solution Manager Value Report

The fourth video explains the free SAP Solution Manager value report which helps you build a business case for introducing or upgrading SAP Solution Manager.

 

Part 5: Upgrade to SAP Solution Manager 7.2

The fifth (and last) video shows the most important aspects of preparing, planning and executing the upgrade to SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
