Here we are a few days into the new year and already things are off and running! 2017 was a a packed year with lots of activities and for me personally a great year! Not only did I get to travel less because of an amazing team of evangelists that we have now (they were doing crazy lots) but we got to set a few great things in motion!
We continued our great trend of SAP CodeJam events, over 600 in 5 years! We also decided to was time to change some things there (more to come). We covered a lot of topics in our tutorial system, our App Space was over the top and that is just small tiny portion of all the things we did in the past 12 months!
I could regal you with numbers upon numbers but if you are reading this then most likely you were one of those folks who helped make it all happen so instead of talking too much about the past I thought it would be fun to give you a sneak peak into the coming future!
I'm in St. Leon / Rot right now sitting outside of 2 SAP CodeJam events taking place today, this is the day after our own SAP DKOM event (internal developer kick off) so lots of great information is being shared and folks are getting hands on with Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, SAP HANA and Geo Spatial (with a peppering of brand new just released information).
Tomorrow we be active at the SAP Inside Track Waldorf as well. So if we want to know more just grab one of us!
I might sneak away tomorrow to the SIT Inside Track for Kids, the Evangelist team opened up the closet and grabbed a few fun gadgets to bring down for everyone to play and explore.
So what else is happening in 2018, well the list is huge! But you'll find more content, more tutorials, more groups, more tracking and monitoring possibilities and just in a word -- MORE!
There are also new things coming, such as abdel.dadouche working Machine Learning and sharing his progress along the way! jonathanb will be sharing tons on the Open Source topic for everyone!
meredith.hassett will continue to expand on her API Friday blogs! vitaliy.rudnytskiy will be diving deep into the world of Geo Spatial and lsubatin will continue to find synergies with Google!
All of that is what we are thinking about in the first Quarter as well!
