Microsoft has released January 3, 2018 security patches to all Microsoft supported operating systems. Fix is for Meltdown and Spectre vulnerability and SAP Contact Center Support recommends all customers to apply all related fixes.
Fixes might have minor affect to SAP Contact Center system performance. Generally SAP Contact Center is a type of product where you shouldn't see major latency caused by the fix, however custom code IVRs might be an exception.
When testing the fix pay attention to:
- system on virtual platform
- system with virus scanner
