In this blog, I would like to provide information regarding version interoperability between S/4HANA and other SAP Products like SAP SRM, CRM etc. Based on my experience working with SAP products for the past 12 years, the knowledge of inter-operability between SAP products and non-SAP products is crucial to design an efficient and effective target landscape. But sometime it’s very hard to find this information in one place. Now with the release of SAP S/4HANA, inter-operability information takes on a new meaning due to more and more functionalities are being embedded into S4CORE of the S/4HANA product.
I have tried to catalog some but not all SAP products that are supported for deployment with S/4HANA as Embedded Only, Side-by-Side Only, Embedded or Side-by-Side Only. The below link will provide the products minimum version, release information, restrictions, and other relevant information for supported products with SAP S/4HANA. I will try to update this file regularly with the new releases of S/4HANA. Hope this information will be useful for the SAP community.
