If there were a Glassdoor “Best Place to Work in the World“ award, SAP would have just won it.

SAP is ecstatic to announce we are among the winners of all 5 countries of the annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Best Places to Work in 2018 awards making the list in the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, as well as receiving a first-place win in Canada!

This is the second year in a row that SAP has been honored with a Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award and this year, SAP is one of only two employers to have achieved placement all 5 Glassdoor Best Places to Work lists.

Unlike other awards, there was no self-nomination process, but rather the process is entirely based on feedback from our employees who have voluntarily and anonymously shared an SAP review on Glassdoor. Glassdoor is the world’s most transparent jobs and recruiting marketplace, where employees can share insights and opinions about their work environments by leaving a company review, which is designed to capture a genuine and authentic look at what it’s like to work at that particular company.

The Best Places to Work Awards rely solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs and work environments – such as company culture, compensation & benefits, senior management, and work-life balance. To determine the winners of the awards, Glassdoor evaluates all company reviews shared by employees over the past year. This year, we are proud to be recognized as a Best Place to Work among companies with more than 1,000 employees according to those based in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, and Germany. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.

By prioritizing global engagement on Glassdoor, we’ve risen from a 3.7 to 4.4 overall ranking on Glassdoor since the end of 2015. We’re thrilled about this improvement because a multitude of studies have shown that engagement and satisfaction lead to increased productivity, loyalty, a happier work environment, and financial growth.

SAP’s overall company score, number of reviews, positive sentiment, and followers have increased thanks to our employees' input. SAP obtained an impressive combined global viewership of 3.8 million views on its Glassdoor pages since last year. With 92% of the 5,800+ respondents saying they’d refer our company to a friend, SAP is now outranking most of our closest competitors.

We would like to say thank you to all our employees who took the time to share their perspectives on what it’s like to work here. We appreciate all the valuable feedback. Writing a review on Glassdoor takes less than 5 minutes, and it gives you a platform for your voice to be heard. Your review will directly help SAP recruit new, outstanding talent. Simultaneously, it offers us ways to improve our recruiting solutions thanks to employee feedback based on interviews.

Congratulations, SAP!
