ACDOCP vs InfoCube in BPC Optimized

In BPC Optimized for S/4HANA, there are 2 options available to persist the transaction data. One is through the traditional BW layer, for example InfoCube. The other is through ACDOCP table. Below is a comparison between InfoCube approach and ACDOCP.

      Hello Sibo,

Thanks for presenting point of view comparing InfoCube R01 versus ACDOCP.

One question around Audit log, are you referring to Data Source Dimension which is available in Standard Version or can be added in InfoCube R01 through BPC Planning Model?

Also can we define a new Dimension - Data Source in ACDOCP and define the same using BPC specific Dimension using Planning Model?

I can notice few new Dimensions available in 1709 such as 0ASOURCE, 0AMODE, 0AUSER but still need to explore whether this is equivalent and how the different members can be maintained against these fields.

Can you through some guidance around this topic?

      Regards,
      Sachin

      Hi Sibo,

My client has moved onto Hana and they would like to transfer their Profit Center Plan from the old FAGLFLEXP tables to the new ACDOCP table so that our FIORI apps can run on the new tables as FIORI doesn't read FAGL* tables.

So.. my question is how to transfer the plan between these tables?  I was using transaction: raaoe but there is no Work Book for transfer Profit Center plan.. Instead there are only WB for Cost Center, Internal Order, Project etc. but not for Profit Center.

      Do you have any suggestions?

      Thanks!

      Hello Sibo,

Thanks for your response and I have read your blog which explains the functionality in detail.

But I still want to add to ACDOCP a new custom Dimension DataSource similar to one available in Standard version?  Any suggestion or thoughts around the same?

      Regards,

      Sachin
