Well, I looked through the video, but it didn't help me.

The adoptions shown are indeed very simple (removing filters + adding a column that just happens to be offered as available columns).

My use case is simple to:
      (On Premise environment).

VBAK is appended with a custom field, say zz_my_field.
I want a "SalesOrderApp" to be able to display this field.

      I'll keep on looking!

      Hi Joachim,

For that scenario you should use the “Custom Fields and Logic” app along with transaction SCFD_EUI where you can enable this custom field for use in the “Custom Fields and Logic” app.

You can find additional information in the following SAP Note: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2320132

      Hi Expert,

I want to hide a standard field on S/4 HANA 1610 standard Fiori app. Can you please guide me?

Is it possible to change text description of standard input field?

      Thanks.

      Hi Vipin

What's possible depends on your release - especially your SAPUI5 version - and the app's UI technology.  E.g. In 1610 for a field on an Object Page yes it is possible to rename the text description. This blog explains the process: https://blogs.sap.com/2018/05/12/fiori-for-s4hana-adapting-terminology-in-sap-fiori-apps-via-key-user-tools/
