SAP Analysis Office – Talk to Me #SAPTechEd
In this Journal of Accountancy article, it shows how to add the speak buttons to Excel 2016. I thought why not try it with Analysis Office? What can I do to make ASUG webcast statistics more interesting?
I decided to upload the Excel spreadsheet to SAP Analytics Cloud, then use Analysis Office to “slice” / “dice” the data:
Of course this is better suited for financial data that you need to check. Just think of all the transposition errors that could be avoided!
Please also note at SAP TechEd the other week we learned that “BusinessObjects” has been dropped from the name too.

So the Analysis plug-in is optimized for SAP Analytics Cloud but SAP Analytics Cloud is not a deployment option.

Note that Analysis Office cannot connect to “live data models” from SAP Analytics Cloud
