New openSAP Thought Leaders Course on Information Security Management

Next Tuesday, October 10th, a new Thought Leaders course on Information Security Management will start on openSAP.

Since I left SAP, I am trying to educate people and organizations to take security seriously – specifically, when sharing information with others. Information is the new gold standard of the digitization era, and it must be protected accordingly. Unfortunately, there is no silver bullet for information protection – encryption, anti-virus, firewalls, DLP – all contribute their part, but ultimately it is up to the people to handle Information securely.

When I was asked to produce this course (together with the openSAP team), I felt very happy, since this is a great chance to reach out for many more people and explain what is needed to protect information within an organization – using a management system, technical and organizational controls, and of course by creating awareness among employees – and partners.
