HCM Brazil eSocial: Layout 2.4 was released by government

The version 2.4 of the eSocial layout is now available. You can see it here.

The changes basically cover the deletion and addition of fields, as well as changes to fields’ names. Are you curious to know exactly which fields were changed? You can find a list of the changes between eSocial layout 2.3 and 2.4 in the same zip file that you download the new layout.

It is important to mention that although eSocial layout 2.4 is the current official layout version, you should use eSocial layout 2.2.02 to perform the tests in eSocial restricted production environment. Click here to learn more.

The Brazilian government is planning to release the layout 2.3 adjustments in eSocial restricted production environment on October 09, 2017. However, beware that the official announcement was not made yet and this agenda can still vary. Stay tuned to the official eSocial website and to this blog for news about the upgrade.

Our development team has already started to work with the new layout, and you will probably have the adjustments for eSocial layout 2.4 in your system in the upcoming delivery phases. We highlight that delivery dates vary due to development workflow.

What is available for you so far?

For delivery phase 10, you will have most of the adjustments for eSocial layout 2.3 in your system. The event for temporary absence (S-2230), which was planned for this phase, will be delivered only for version 2.4. This change is part of our development strategy.

We are planning to start delivery of version 2.4 on delivery phase 11.

As mudanças abrangem basicamente deleção, adição e edição de campos. Ficou curioso para saber exatamente quais campos foram modificados? Você encontra uma lista das mudanças entre os layouts 2.3 e 2.4 anexada ao arquivo zip do novo layout.

É importante mencionar que, embora a versão 2.4 seja atualmente a versão oficial do layout, você deve utilizar a versão 2.2.02 ao realizar testes no ambiente de produção restrita do eSocial. Clique aqui para saber mais.

O governo brasileiro planeja liberar os ajustes para o layout 2.3 no ambiente de produção restrita do eSocial no dia 09 de outubro de 2017. Entretanto, note que não há um anúncio oficial sobre essa entrega, portanto, essa agenda pode ainda variar. Fique ligado no site oficial do eSocial e neste blog para saber mais sobre a atualização.

Nosso time de desenvolvimento já começou a trabalhar com a nova versão do layout, e você provavelmente terá os ajustes para o layout 2.4 do eSocial em seu sistema nas próximas fases de entrega. É importante ressaltar que as datas de entrega podem variar de acordo com o ritmo de desenvolvimento.

O que está disponível até agora?

Para a fase 10, você terá grande parte dos ajustes para a versão 2.3 do layout em seu sistema. O evento de afastamento temporário (S-2230) – que estava previsto para essa fase – , será entregue apenas na versão 2.4 do layout. Essa mudança é parte de nossa estratégia de desenvolvimento.

Estamos planejando a entrega da versão 2.4 a partir da fase 11.
