Digital consumers are connected to people and businesses and want unlimited personalization, tailored offers and seamless interactions across all interaction channels. At the same time, Digital consumes want a high level of privacy and data security. Our Retail and Fashion customers are demanded by digital consumers to innovate and integrate solutions into their processes. And our customers look at SAP to innovate solutions and to protect the consumer data.

The In-Store Merchandising team has partnered with our Retail and Fashion customers and our partners worldwide to engage digital consumers and close the gaps between digital consumers and retailers by transforming retail stores.

Driven by a strong base of Retail and Fashion implementations and prospects (link), the In-Store Merchandising team has continued to co-innovate closely with our customers and enhanced the solution with more functions and features.

To share one of the many engagement stories that we had, our team co-innovated very closely with the US based Fashion Retailer Under Armour an app for Transfer Products which Under Armour (link) is using today at their retail stores. The app has become a star and the store associates love it because it looks so simple while it supports many features. The app helps to transfer products from one store to another store, DC or outlet e.g. at the end of a season. The app helps to rebalance the stock, start and end a season ahead of the competitors. PVH Europe was another great co-innovation partner who is live with our apps today.

Another app that our team enhanced was Order ProductsThe enhancement includes: Order proposals and exceptions from SAP F & R are transferred to S/4HANA to be consumed by the app, order proposals can be filtered by exception categories, exception details are displayed in the detail view of the app, further data of SAP F&R such as range of coverage and scheduling data are displayed in the detail view.

Also, our team enhanced the app Look up Retail Products to show the current, future and previous promotions and bonus buys for a product, to show the current, future and previous deliveries to the store, and to use a filter for selecting attributes sizes and colors for displaying the variants of a style product. Geo location for close-by stores is planned for the next support package.

There is more. We also delivered Object Page apps for Article, Site, and Allocation Table. Object Page apps are designed for professional users such as master data managers and allocation managers that need to view and compare many information from different source. Opening different sessions and jumping from one screen to another screen to put the information together was inefficient for the professional user and belongs to the past. The new Object Page apps are a single point of entry to information and provides the professional users with an overview of the most important information and functions without opening multiple screens. It allows cross navigation to related app e.g. from Site to Allocation Table.
