This blog highlights the functionalities of the new SAP Business ByDesign user type - the SCM Team User which has been introduced to accomplish both currently available SCM self-Service and SCM enterprise users.
The new SCM team user focusses on SCM-execution-related tasks of the daily business and includes SCM self-service capabilities and completes the currently available SCM self-service user and SCM enterprise user. The SCM team user (Material Code: 8005570) has been introduced to productive and test systems beginning of September and is available as of now. Prices may vary in different currencies and are based on current exchange rates. A user type switch e.g. from SCM Enterprise User to a different SCM user type can only be performed at renewal. A reduction of current licenses can be performed at renewal whereas additional licenses can be purchased at any time.
