In April this year, SAP Labs Israel employees moved into our new home: a brand new, SAP-owned, state-of-the-art office building.

The building embodies the confidence SAP has in Israel as a key engineering R&D center, where technology and innovation come together thanks to our startup spirit and collaboration with the vibrant Israeli startup eco-system. Our new home base enables us to continue innovating, growing, and establishing SAP’s position as a market leader providing solutions that improve people’s lives.

The design of the building is the culmination of a process that began back in 2014, led by the local facilities team. From the get-go, employees were deeply involved in many aspects of the decision-making process – from a company-wide survey about various topics, to volunteering in work groups that utilized design thinking methodology.

The unique facade of the building attracts the attention of every passerby, and distinguishes it from all other buildings in the area. It is a landmark of which we are extremely proud! The interior of the building is an impressive combination of state-of-the-art design and a modern work environment.

You begin by entering a huge atrium, six stories high. On the ground floor, the SAP Executive Innovation Center provides our guests with a spacious demo and meeting center, as well as a fully-equipped, advanced training center and Startup Hub. Above the ground floor are our workspaces. The open-space floor plan was carefully designed to provide distinct work areas in which team members can easily interact and collaborate. There are many meeting rooms ranging from individual phone booths, comfortable lounge areas, and elegant meeting rooms of varying sizes. Wi-Fi is everywhere, even in the gardens surrounding the building, allowing for varied work environments and settings.

Our new home provides SAP employees, our partners, and our customers with an innovative, interactive, and dynamic office environment that caters for all needs, and is an asset for SAP.
