SAP Web IDE has been a major part of the SAP TechEd events in past years and 2017 is no exception!

The team have prepared many lectures, code-jams and hands-on sessions in order for you to get familiar with our latest and greatest features and benefits.

This year we have stretched the IDE capabilities and introduced a new version called SAP Web IDE for Full-Stack Development!

Don’t forget to check SAP Web IDE sessions when you build your TechEd agenda at:  Las Vegas, Bangalore and Barcelona.

CPL805 SAP Web IDE: Roadmap and Q&A

SAP Web IDE is delivered on SAP Cloud Platform, as part of the SAP HANA platform, and as a personal edition. In this session, we present the newest capabilities and benefits of SAP Web IDE and lay out the product's roadmap and the strategy for the future.

DX271 Build Your SAP Fiori App from Backend to User Experience

In this 4 hours hands-on session, you will be taken to a journey to develop an SAP Fiori app end-to-end, from backend data to the SAP Fiori user interface (UI). This includes developing SAP Gateway technology, based on CDS views to expose your application data as well as building the UI using SAPUI5 with SAP Web IDE. We’ll cover creating a new project from scratch, and extending a standard SAP service and its UI with your custom logic. This session will take place in Las-Vegas only.

CPL723 Consume Services from SAP API Business Hub to Develop SAPUI5 Applications

SAP API Business Hub is a central catalog that brings together APIs from different cloud products. In this Code Review session, you will learn how to develop SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori business applications by consuming services from SAP API Business HUB using SAP Web IDE.

CPL283 Full Stack Development with SAP Web IDE (from SAP HANA to SAP Fiori UX)

In this 4 hours hands-on session, you will learn how to create an entire application for SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Foundry environment, consisting of a data model in SAP HANA, transaction logic exposed as an OData service, and an SAP Fiori UI application that consumes the service, all in one project. As a final step, deploy the entire application to SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Foundry environment in one step.

HBD105 SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA: Introduction to Teamwork with Git and Gerrit

In this lecture, you will learn about source-code control, versioning, and teamwork with SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA using Git. The session will provide an overview of Git as distributed version control system. You will learn how to set up a Git repository and how to collaborate with team members on project source code and other common Git operations such as clone, fetch, commit, and push.

CPL221 Introducing Multi-Target Applications for SAP Cloud Platform

In this lecture, you will be provided with an introduction to the concept of a multi-target application. Learn how to specify complex deployment dependencies at design time for one-step deployment and lifecycle management of full-stack applications.

CPL222 SAP Web IDE: Best Practices for Advanced Teamwork with Git and Gerrit

In this lecture, we discuss best-practice teamwork and provide a range of tips and recommendations on using Git and Gerrit for productive development and life-cycle management with SAP Web IDE. Topics include using SAP Cloud Platform with Git, connecting to your own Git server, using Github, and more.

DX706 Advanced Development with SAP Web IDE

In this code-review session you will learn about the latest and advanced development features in SAP Web IDE.

CPL634 Enliven your SAP Web IDE: Extend it with Your Own Features

In this code-jam session you will develop a new SAP Web IDE feature that will enrich the capabilities of the IDE. You will use the SAP Web IDE SDK, get a glimpse to the core APIs, test, deploy and publish your new feature.

DX200 Plug in your development solution into SAP Web IDE

In this lecture, we will show how (almost) anyone can leverage SAP Web IDE SDK to extend SAP Web IDE with your new features and provide them to others. With SAP Web IDE features you can connect to external systems, improve the development experience and increase productivity.

HBD267 End-to-End Native Application Development for SAP HANA

With SAP HANA SPS 11, SAP has introduced a major new application server architecture: SAP HANA extended application services, advanced model. In this 4 hours hands-on session, we will develop a complete end-to-end application using SAP HANA extended application services, SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA, and the SAP HANA deployment Infrastructure. We will start from scratch and build a complete application that can be deployed both on premise and in the cloud.
