SAP/Andreas – want to make sure ideas are actively reviewed

Question and Answer

Q: Idea Place was open to everyone. Will the Customer Influence platform or program be open to all including employees, partners, independent consultants?

A: yes, most opportunities are open to all customers and partners, this is a core principle for both IdeaPlace and Customer Influence site

Q: concerns about SAP Lumira, a 2.0 product that went GA a few weeks ago, is not migrating – https://ideas.sap.com/SAPLumira – “mature and stable state”? Really?

A: The Lumira team just sent me a mail today saying that, ‘mature and stable’ is incorrect and they want to change the messaging. The session will pause while they focus on working on the ideas they have. I will be removing the ‘mature and stable state’ language shortly.

Q: Customer Connection does not usually have as many participants as, say, Ideas for SCN
A: For a Customer Connection Focus Topic, they are product or possibly even more narrow.

Q: Access for partners?
A: Partners have still access to most sessions. Similarly to IdeaPlace, some sessions are reserved to Customers only, but most sessions will accept Improvement requests and votes from Customers and Partners

Q: my idea has been “acknowledged” for over 12 months – and has 54 votes https://ideas.sap.com/D35883 – so it’s stuck

A: will have more reporting in the future

Q: Who is the Product Manager for the SAP Community?
A: Jerry Janda and team head up the SAP Community area.  Oliver Kohl is product owner on IT side

Jelena Perfiljeva:
IMHO this process for creation of focus topic is unnecessarily convoluted… To see what I’m talking about take a look at this old post and search for the comment by Cueneyt Cam: https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3689775
