More from SAP:

  1. “You want to upgrade both to Lumira 2 SP02 and to BI 4.2 SP04:

    1. First upgrade to BI 4.2 SP04 and then install BI 4.2 SP04 Patch 1

    2. Then upgrade to Lumira 2 SP02

  2. You want to upgrade to Lumira 2 first… and then upgrade to BI 4.2 SP04 at a later date:

    1. Upgrade to Lumira 2 SP02 now

    2. When you want to upgrade to BI 4.2 SP04 you MUST use the combined installer option. This installs SP04 and Patch 1 simultaneously.

      1. To get the combined installer, open https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/softwarecenter and search for “sbop bi platform 4.2 sp04 combined”
