July is usually a quiet month for the SAP CodeJam program however, this year we hosted 14 events in 12 different cities in ten different countries and making over 300 developer connections. This is all possible because of developers like you, so thank you!

Getting to Know the Expert: Lucia Subatin

Lucia Subatin joined SAP earlier this year and has been an SAP CodeJam expert ever since. Lucia covers the following SAP CodeJam topics: SAP HANA, express edition, SAP HANA XSA, and ABAP for SAP HANA Fundamentals.

Lucia likes being an SAP CodeJam expert because she loves meeting other developers, talking about technology and sharing knowledge. “I get a combo of what I like the most at CodeJams, good geek company, coding and foodie!”

As an SAP HANA, express edition expert, Lucia finds the fact that she can now use SAP HANA on her laptop most amazing while before she would have needed at least eight laptops.

Fun Fact: Lucia loves food, “I love good food so a lot of my spare time is spent preparing sushi or cakes overflowing with Nutella and chocolate, burning those calories at the gym or touring cities in the quest for good coffee with some pastry.”

What are People Saying?

“Very good explanation of the concepts related to SAP Vora. Understandable even for people who don´t work in this area.”

SAP CodeJam Passau, July 21st

“All the whole event was fantastic! the topic was very clear by Daniel Bianchin and the exercises very clear. Also validating different scenarios of the company to be applied with SAP Cloud Integration.”

SAP CodeJam Medellin, July 26th

“I liked the opportunity to talk and learn with someone directly from SAP, and I liked the practice time.”

SAP CodeJam Curitiba, July 31st

Not sure what SAP CodeJam is?

SAP CodeJam is a 5 to 6 hours event where a small group of developers get together for an afternoon of networking, learning, and coding in an ultra-casual environment all for free. Attendees get a chance to share and expand their knowledge and collaboratively develop with SAP technologies, platforms and tools under the watchful guidance of an expert. The events are developer community focused and supported by SAP, exploring technologies available through the SAP Developer Center.
