Our summer release – the Q3 one – is out!

Before you travel to SuccessConnect, I want to talk about my personal highlights of this release.

The first one pertains to operational headcount planning, which is part of the SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning solution. In the last release, we shared that operational headcount planning enables managers to continuously view and update workforce plans, including current and planned positions. In this release, integration between operational headcount planning and SAP RealSpend solution is now available. With this, managers get clear visibility into their financial cost forecast from within their operational headcount plan, enabling real-time visibility into planned headcount costs, improving cost controls and alignment with Finance by using the same data source.

Dealing with a large amount of data is always a challenge for HR organizations. It’s a huge effort capturing, managing and storing the HR data. Plus, data needs to be available for users at anytime, anywhere. Now, with SAP SuccessFactors Extended Enterprise Content (ECM) Management by OpenText, employee data can be stored in a centralized location. The ECM is secure and meets legal and regulatory requirements. To learn more about ECM check out this blog.

Another great highlight is the new Report Center – the place to go to for all reporting needed for your daily work. With the simplified navigation, it is easy to build any type of report. To learn more about the Report Center, check our Robert Wood's blog "SuccessFactors Reporting & Analytics - let's make it simple"

Another one of my favorites is the new Assessment Builder in our SAP SuccessFactors Learning solution. With the Assessment Builder, you can create and manage quizzes and exams. After the assessment is done, the learner’s knowledge and retention can be measured, as well as the course effectiveness. Learn more on the Assessment Builder in Emily Wilson's blog.
